Cherished Objects

We all have family heirlooms and pieces of jewelry that have great meaning to us. They don't necessarily need to have great monetary value.  I think that objects that are sentimental are the most sacred.  Your grandmother's locket or the bracelet your mother wore to her wedding.  Even special pieces you find antiquing like the one in the picture above.  I bought this early 1900's necklace 20 years ago at an antiques market. I've often wondered if the lady who originally owned it, cherished it as much as I do.
These objects tell a story or history of our families and deserve to be cherished by future generations.
